Maternity

When is the best time to do my maternity session? I recommend that we do your portraits when you are about 7-8 months pregnant; big enough to be showing well but not so big that you feel uncomfortable!

When should I schedule my session? Anytime; the sooner the better so you can be sure of getting a spot on our calendar when you want it.

​

Do I have provide my own maternity gowns? No! We have a selection of gowns at the studio in a variety of sizes and colors; we recommend that you schedule a complimentary pre-session consultation to browse and try on gowns. Does it cost more to have my partner and/or children be a part of the session? No indeed; your session fee covers your partner and children as well.

Where should we do the session? Studio or outdoors, it’s up to you! Take a look at our maternity gallery and see what setting you like best.

​

How long will the session take? Maternity sessions usually last about an hour.

​

When do we see our portraits? About a week after your session you will return to the studio to view and choose the portraits you want to order. Anyone who is a part of the decision-making process should be there. Payment is due when ordering and portraits will be ready in about two weeks.
